12 East 13th Street is a residential conversion of a former parking garage located in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, into a boutique, super-luxury condominium building. The existing garage was constructed in 1930 and consisted of approximately 45,000 square feet of space. Upon completion, the property will consist of a total of eight residential units, which on average will be approximately 4,800 square feet per unit. In addition to the redevelopment of the existing garage, the project also includes the construction of a penthouse triplex atop the existing structure. 12 East 13th Street includes a state-of-the-art automated car parking system for use with each residence, a 24-hour concierge, fitness center, resident storage, and street level retail.
Continental Properties acquired the parking garage in 2012 and anticipates completion of construction in the third quarter of 2015.
