Steven Fisch has over 25 years of experience as an owner and operator of all sectors of real estate. As a Co-Managing Principal of Continental Properties, a diversified real estate development and management company, he is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of Continental’s investments, including acquisitions, financing, management and divestitures. Steven’s preeminent expertise is in strategic planning, analysis of markets and market cycles, evaluation of investment acquisitions, repositioning of assets and divestiture. He oversees a portfolio of approximately 5,500 rental apartments, which includes market-rate and rent-regulated apartments.
Since joining Continental Properties in 1989, Steven has been responsible for the development of over $3 billion worth of real estate, including the development of over 10,000 residential units and the purchase of over one million square feet of office and commercial space. He has extensive experience in dealing with non-performing and distressed assets. Throughout the 1990s, he acquired distressed real estate from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Resolution Trust Company (RTC) and lenders and entities disposing of REO. His demonstrated track record in repositioning residential and commercial assets includes expertise in development, construction, property management, marketing, sales and leasing.
He is the founder of the Children’s Hope Foundation, a New York City-based not for-profit entity with a 21-year record of assisting children in need. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College, where he graduated cum laude, and he earned a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law. He is admitted to the Bar in the State of New Jersey.
