David M. Seshens has spent the past ten years working in principal real estate investing. David joined Continental Properties in March 2014. Prior to joining Continental, David was a Senior Vice President in the real estate group at Avenue Capital Group, a $13 billion hedge fund. From April 2006 to March 2014, David was, amongst other tasks, primarily focused on identifying, evaluating, and sourcing investment opportunities, as well as, involved in management of the Fund’s investment portfolio. During this time, David was actively involved in investing over $250 million of capital in real estate with an aggregate investment value exceeding $1 billion. Prior to working at Avenue Capital Group, from 2003 to 2006, David was associated with Keystone Property Group; a Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania based real estate investment and property development company focused on investing predominately in commercial office development and re-development opportunities throughout the United States. David was primarily focused on providing acquisition analysis, underwriting, and due diligence services to this multi-fund, real estate and property development company in connection with an aggregate value of over $500 million investment transactions.
In 2003, David graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a B.S. in Business.
